[Dems2008] Re: NAACP Chair Julian Bond to Dean: Seat the Delegates

Florida and Michigan will be won or lost on the votes of independents.
Independents don't give a rat's ass whether the Democratic delegates
from those states are seated at the convention, in violation of
agreements openly and unanimously agreed to by the candidates.

Cynics among independents are far more likely to see a retroactive
change in the rules as evidence of a lack of principle among Democrats,
thus heightening their cynicism about our eventual candidate.
