Re: [Dems2008] BARACK OBAMA

I believe that the closeness apparent in the polls between either McCain vs Clintor or Obama is a falsehood, I believe that once all the dust is settled and you put the two together you will see that there is a wide margin between the Dem candidate and McCain.  The only concern is if something drastic happens like another 911 here at home.

The time for some form of steps toward universal health care is here this is a big issue, a big plus for the dems.

We have many bridges to mend in foreign affairs if Obama is our candidate he needs a Veep with strong foreign affairs credentials and military credentials I like Richardson and also Webb.

Yea i think america is tired of having everything about Iraq so i feel dems will win and should win cause we want to bring the troops home and we want to make healthcare for everyone. we want better jobs for people and keep jobs here. Seems like all McCain and the GOP wants is more money for the war in Iraq and its like if we keep on the war were will it end you know and our kids and grandkids will be paying the bill and how many more vets have to die over a war that should not of been fought in the 1st place. To me the Army is there to project the american people of course but Bush is over using em. Yes there are bad people out there but to me the best way to do that is to give our police officers over here more tools to protect us and the troops should be at the boarders checking what is comming in and out to me that is how you stop terrisom. Bill Clinton was great and talking with people from other parts of the world and alot of people loved us. Bush has made all our friends of the world mad. I feel Obama or H. Clinton both if they got into the white house could fix that and fix our relationships with the world. While it will probably take a while to fix what bush has broken i feel Democrats can do it.

I am a big supporter of Hillary, however I have always liked Obama what concerns me is can his inspiration really accomplish what needs to be accomplished?  How will he fair against McCain?  I believe it is the year of the democrats not only for President but also in both houses of congress even Gingrich indicated this.  As of now it looks like odds are on Obama but if Clinton wins the remaining big 3 we will continue to be in a deadlock which is not good for the party. If this be the case something will have to be done with seating the Florida and Michigan delegates and the super delegates will have to take a stand.

He gave a great speech last night i felt. I feel as of now Obama is
the best choice for the Democrat side. I feel he has the best views
and best ways to turn the white house back to the people. I feel he
has the best shot of taking on McCain. While i will support whoever
gets the nod obama or clinton as of now i feel Obama is the best
choice.
