[Dems2008] This election is about more than just our candidate

• IT is essential that the Democrats -- whether Hillary or Barack -- be elected
• SEVERAL reasons, but just four (if you need four) reasons are:
• first, life and death -- each day we stay in Iraq is an average of FIVE U.S. military deaths, not counting the wounded and the deaths of Iraqi civilians
• second, the Supreme Court, which will have an effect lasting long beyond our lives
• third, a woman's right to choose
• fourth, healthcare for children who need us to recognize that their health is a fundamental right in an ordered society

BOTH Barack and Hillary are candidates of change on all four of those points.   Do not lose sight of the prize; it is an end to politics and policy as we know them today.
