Re: [Dems2008] Long Primary Season

I hope when this election is over with we can get some sanity back into
the process. The primary season needs to be shorter, the conventions
need to be sooner and the general election period needs to be a bit
longer. Maybe the parties could convince the states to start the
primaries in April and get them over with by June. Then we could have
the conventions in June and July. That's my plan and I'll stick to it
unless any of it would interfere with the Olympics, in which case the
election has to take the back seat. The best part of ANY presidential
election year is always the Olympics.
