I won't get into the psychology behind what drives Obama as

Rob would jump all over me lol.--However a good many of

our presidents both good and bad were the sons of fathers

who failed them in one way or another.  I do know that

T.R. had a wonderful relationship with his father--who

by the way was a terrific man--but as I have said before

T.R. was not really a politician.  And of course his

brother who had the same father died an alcoholic.

So who knows what part fathers play.--------Nan

--- I love this statement and agree completely. For me, I FEEL Obama
has something to prove <not saying Clinton doesn't> because his father
left him. It may be the true driving force behind most of his
accomplishments.
