[Dems2008] Re: I'm getting nervous. Anyone else?

John McCain and Huckaby after months of campaigning stand deadlocked.
McCain has run a series of ads questioning his electability, and
painting the man who believes in miracles over math as not only
perhaps unready to take up the mantel of the presidency, but perhaps
that his joviality is reflective of mental instability. Huckabee
holds on to a lead hammering over and over at McCains credentials as
a conservative. Each candidate has been bloodied, but neither
candidate has been able to score a knockout. Mitt Romney holds the
key tight to his chest, refusing as well as Ron Paul to release their
delegates. A deadlocked convention seems inevitable, and the long and
determined fight will continue.

The Republicans trying to resolve an ill advised decision to not
count the Florida Primary have gathered in Washington to attempt to
get their delegation seated. The Democratic governor has made it
clear that if a revote were to occur it would happen at the expense
of the RNC, but that regardless of the decision he assets that the
citizens of Florida are being treated unfairly and have been denied
representation by the Republican party. When asked if he supported
McCain or Huckabee, he laughed stating that he was a Democrat and he
had no say in the matter, he just wanted the matter of the citizens
of Florida being thrown aside resolved.

Meanwhile the Democratic nominee (fill in your choice here) was
hosting a BBQ for the press and campaign staff. Jubilant staffers
clearly showed their joy at their candidates victory and promised a
long and strong fight regardless who the Republicans finally settle
on. When asked about the situation in the Republican party and the
inevitable Deadlock... the head of the DNC laughed and said that he
may well send some money into the McCain campaign and was sporting a
vote for McCain button. When asked if they would possible vote for
McCain in November one supporter was heard to say... "I would rather
walk on glass."

Its a nice fantasy isn't it.
