market for over a year, with no buyers. I could afford the house when I
worked on Wall Street, but my life and career has changed and I can't afford
it any more. So, the bank started foreclosure proceedings.
A good friend of mine is a bankruptcy lawyer, and basically she said, in a
case like mine, it is probably best, although very difficult, to walk away,
which is what we ended up doing.
