been a consideration, but after reading Woodward's books on "Bush At
War" I've decided that littleBush had to do it to show Daddy, and
probably for no other particular reason. It is definitely going to be
UNAmerican to suggest that our brave boys and girls are dying for
nothing but corporate profits. Instead, they are dying to bring
"democracy" to the heathens, which is impossible. Democracy is only
interesting to an educated, business-oriented middle class, and Iraq
does not have that class, or if it did the middle class disappeared with
deBaathification. Now we've got a country of the poor, underprivileged
and uneducated lower class, with a group of ex-patriot upper class - the
ones with enough money to get out before the US could kill or rob them.
Iran is the logical inheritor of Bush's War. I don't think we can
get out of it at all without making a deal with the mullahs of Iran...Carol
